She moved to where she could hold him in her lap, her hand continuing you run through his hair. Amora kissed the top of his head, she didn’t like seeing him like this. Blind and unable to speak, it hurt her to see him like this. “Loki, I can’t do much, but I’ll stay with you. I care not if anyone tells me to leave. I won’t leave you like this.” She whispered to him. “I love you.”
Amora truly wished she could do more for the prince, but she couldn’t. She could only try her best to help him through it.
Loki breathed heavily, practically clutching to the woman. The darkness, it was everywhere. He hated it. He feared it. He felt tears upon his cheek, but didn’t know if they were his own, or falling from the woman who held him.
He didn’t want to be alone, but at the same time he didn’t want her to see him. Not like this. Not in this pathetic mess, broken in ways beyond repair. He wanted to be strong for her, yet couldn’t even manage to be strong for himself.
Amora pulled him tightly to her, she didn’t want to move. She felt if she moved, he would be taken from her or he would force her out. He wasn’t a student anymore, he knew what spells to use to make her leave, to send her away. The Enchantress stroked his hair and kissed the top of his head.
The blonde hummed a simple tune while she gently rocked him side to side. All she could do was try to keep him calm and relaxed. It may or may not work but she would try anything.
Loki choked back a sob, his breath uneven and forced, as if he had forgotten how to breathe. He could feel the cold touch of the darkness around him, slowly curling through his body and gripping at his very soul. The very darkness he had spent so long fighting had finally grasped him.
He was afraid. But not for himself…but for the ones he loved.
He clutched tightly at the fabric of her dress. Blood trickled down from his arms, but he could’t feel a thing. He needed Amora to be there with him. Needed her to understand…needed her to save him from this overwhelming curse.
Amora shifted so she could hold him more comfortably, after doing so she noticed the blood. “Hold still okay, darling.” She whispered, moving one of her hands to his arm. Amora softly whispered the healing incantation and moved her fingers gently along each cut of his arms. She could put two and two together to figure out he had crashed and knocked things over. That didn’t stop her from tending to his injuries.
The blindness she could handle, it was not hearing his voice that hurt most. For now, until this curse was gone, the blonde would just hold him. Not just to keep him from getting hurt, but so he would know she was here and wouldn’t leave him. Amora held him close and whispered in his ear, “I love you”
